How Amazon order email is used.

Access and collection

The owner authorizes the Gmail read-only scope. Google grants permission to read mailbox messages and settings; the application limits its searches to recognized Amazon order senders and processes order-related messages.

Collected order information can include sender and message identifiers, dates, supplier order numbers, product descriptions, quantities, prices, taxes, delivery charges, recipient and destination details, shipment updates and tracking details when present. Original order email and authentication headers may be retained as evidence. Unrelated mailbox content is not intentionally imported.

The connection cannot send, alter or delete Gmail messages. It does not require the owner's Gmail password.

Purpose and processing

Email information supports the owner's order reconciliation, receipt bookkeeping, purchase-cost accounting, inventory review and shipment tracking. Access to the private dashboard and stored receipts requires owner authentication.

Automated matching uses parsed facts and evidence checks. Optional AI product matching is limited to approved product descriptions, quantities and stock titles; recipient details, payment details and full email bodies are excluded from that product-matching input. AI output does not authorize a purchase or create a financial record on its own.

Gmail data is not sold, used for advertising or used to train generalized AI models. ABZ Sales' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and access

Parsed receipt records and original email evidence are stored on the owner's private servers. OAuth credentials are protected in server-side credential storage. The private dashboard, its records and its credentials are separate from this static information site.

The business owner and authorized operators may access records to operate the integration, review reconciliation or investigate a reported problem. Processing services receive only the information needed for their function; this page contains no receipt or customer data.

Retention, revocation and removal

Imported receipts are retained as business records rather than deleted after each poll. Revoking access in Google Account connections stops the connection's future access; it does not automatically remove receipts already imported.

Contact the business owner to request review or removal of stored Gmail-derived information. Existing accounting links must be reviewed before records are removed. Backups may retain earlier copies until their retention cycle ends.
